Question about Cars & Trucks
What code do you have? There are no sensors on the carbon canister. The only time it would need to be replaced for an EVAP problem is if it where cracked, broken, or leaking vacuum. There is a vent solenoid which opens and closes the EVAP system. It is attached to the charcoal canister with a rubber hose. This is far more common to cause issues that the canister. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using FixYa.com!
