pop door panel from bottom first then door handles might be holding it or screws with covers then lift up on the door panel to release it ... some of those windows are glued in with urothane and some are mounted with rubber .

besides a possible short i the wiring ,check your fuse and relay if it has one . you have 2 fuse boxes 1 by the driver side left foot, and one under the hood . on the underside uf the box lids is a diagram of each box telling witch fuse is witch. you also need to check the brake switch itself is located on the arm of the brake pedal .
some times we strugle to get our wallet out at the drive threw and our feet knock loose the electrical connection .i got big feet.and a little rio also make sure nothing in the trunk smashed the wires

SOURCE: brake lights do not work.
Most likely is the brake light switch under the dash. This is a plastic button that the brake pedal depresses when you're not pushing it down. This little swtich is easily replaced. Buy a new one and see if it comes with a plug connector. If so, follow the old one's wires to the connector and switch them out. If no, cut the old one out and splice in the new one using solder/electrical tape (recommended) or wire connectors/electrical tape, or twist-tie together/lots of electrical tape.

Basic metric socket set 3/8" drive
Caliper spreader or C-clamp
Basic hand tools
