Question about 1997 Dodge Caravan
Unfortunately, the best place to find pulleys on any car is going to be at the nearest vehicle make's dealership. most automotive stores can get them, but they're doing nothing more than ordering them from the dealerships most of the time. i work at a suzuki/mazda/nissan/honda/gm dealership and i daily visit places like napa, o'reilly's, advanced auto etc. i have never seen anyone but our manufacturer's warehouses be able to supply pulleys. if there are after market pulleys for dodge, i wouldn't know.

what motor...3.0 liter has a pump driven by the timing belt....3.3 is on the passenger side front lower corner of the timing cover

If it's red, it's transmission fluid. Coolant would be green. Check the fluid level, don't let it get low, Chrysler minivans are prone to transmission troubles, and low fluid levels over time will ruin a a transmission. And be sure not to overfill, it's just as bad for the trans. Have the leak checked out and repaired, good luck

SOURCE: water pump
Is it a 99 or an 03? Either way fairly simple. You will need to remove the splash shield on the passenger side wheel well. Removing tire is optional. If it is a 99, the pump should be located near the radiator. Loosen the bolts that hold the pulley on the pump before removing the belt. This will save you time later. Remove the belt, then remove the pulley. Take all the bolts out of the waterpump. Install in reverse order. If it is an 03, it is near the firewall side of the motor. Remove shield, loosen pulley bolts. The pulley will not come off until you get the water pump out, but you need to remove the bolts for it any way. Take the bolts out of the waterpump. You will need a pry bar to get the pump/pulley out. You can pry on the tensioner against the fenderwell and wiggle it out. Install in reverse order.

you must undo the three pully bolts turn the pully so it slips behind the mounting flange , then you should be able to wiggle it out , if it still hangs on frame you a long pry bar and push between frame and crankshaft bolt just hard enough to move engine slightly, this will definitly work and repeat to install. PS use a little RTV silicon to hold seal on new pump.
