To get all the monitor ready you are a 2 trip. What this mean the vehicle must see a cold start up then approach 210 F. with a drive cycle at part throttle at 40 mph. and a decel for 2 minutes without stepping on the brake. Then is must see another cold start up and warm up twice.

SOURCE: 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix Thermostat

as you face the engine the thermostat bell is on the right (drivers side) Follow the radiatoe hose. Remove the two bolts and raise the bell still attatched to the hose. the thermostat is there with the rubber seal. You can gently pry the thermostat out with a screwdriver or something similar. Put in new thermostat be sure it is the same as the old one, and then replace or change the seal (be sure it is the smae size and thickness as the old one as I got the wrong size from Napa) Then replace the bell, and tighten, but not over tighten. I hope this helps!

SOURCE: 2002 grand prix runs rough, dies service engine

sounds like you have a vacuum leak, check all the vacuum hoses and replace any broken or kinked ones, also check around the intake manifold gasket for leaks. any air leaks after the air flow meter creates 'un-metered' air which inturn will make the car run rough and stall, hope this helps

What is the drive cycle after changing the catalytic converter on a 2001 pontiac grand prix

there is no drive cycle, just get in and go. But if youre asking for the cycle on the readiness monitor for the CAT. it will take several drive cycles for that monitor to run to see if the new CAT. passes or not.

Drive cycle 2002 Pontiac Grand Am

Three cold starts and at least a 15 minute drive should be enough time for the fail counter to clear the light.
Worst case you may want to disconnect the battery negative cable for 15 minutes. This will reset the fail counter to 0. The PCM will contine to moniter the catilyst and set a light only if the convertor fails the test again.
Good luck

The OBD drive cycle description is too long and drawn-out to post here. Any local shop that has access to this information should be able to print you a copy. (Normal driving will usually do the trick as long as it includes at least 5 miles of driving at speeds of 55 to 60 MPH.)

Would replacing a power steering pump in a 2002 Grand Prix GTP Supercharger cause the SuperCharger belt to break.

No.

The supercharger belt is on the main drive, the water pump is on the accessory drive. Provided that they are both properly installed of course.
