This is the 2.7 ltr engine...car click when I turn the key..all lights work and battery seems fine..I was able to let it sit 5 minutes and then it did start but now I just get the clicking..not sure if its a relay a selnoid or the starter..help??>>>?"??
It is not uncommon for a failing starter to make a click noise, but check other things before jumping into that, clean the battery terminals, have the battery tested, make sure you are getting power to the starter and have a good ground.

No, you can access the starter from the bottom of the engine without having to remove anything else. I replaced the starter on my 94 3.3 myself without having to remove anything else. Good Luck!!!!!

The knock sensor is threaded into the block of the engine, just below where the cylinder head sits. You will need to remove the intake plenum (upper and lower) to access this part.
