Fuel pump, filter, try the filter first but pumps go about 100,000 if u r lucky
if it has more than 70k on it I'd change the pump anyway

SOURCE: Chevy camaro engine problem

I had the same problem, so I replaced the fuel pump, it was stuttering like it was not getting gas. Still wouldn't work right, would run for a bit and then it would choke up on me. Changed the mass air flow sensor and she ran beautifully,

SOURCE: 2002 camaro 3.8L V6 Gauges Not Working,

Sounds dumb and you've probably already tried this but I would double check the fuse box to see if there are any blown fuses. I would replace the fuse to the guages regardless if it looks blown or not as a starting point.

2000 Chevy Camaro automatic, V6 3.8l engine, stalls then starts, how do I fix this problem

If it stalls out when hot and then restarts after it cools down it could be one of two things. The ignition module shutting the spark down or the fuel pump shutting the fuel off. Next time it happens pull a plug wire and ground it out and have someone crank it to see if you have a nice blue spark. Be careful to not shock yourself.

Why won't my 1991 camaro start?

Spark or fuel. Start with spark. There are inexpensive little test lights that will let you know if you're getting spark. If you have spark, start looking for a problem in your fuel system. Do you hear the pump kick on when you turn on the key before you start cranking? Is its air choked off? In line fuel filter that could be clogged? Fuel pressure? Injectors firing? Start with the easy stuff and rule out possibilities one-by-one until you find what's keeping the engine from getting spark, air, or gas.
