I would check the crankshaft, camshaft sensor and the control module. Also check the plug wires.

Why is there a noise comming from back end of my car when I accelerate or begin to stop?

Jack up the car and spin the rear wheels. I suspect that one of your brake cylinders is acting up.

Good morning.. Firstly it started with pinging on acceleration, power loss and random misfires. My friends a mechanic and he scanned the vehicle finding that bank 2 sensor 1 was acting up on the reading. I...

Replace your O2 Sensors (both of them). The misreading is telling the computer to increase fuel output causing the vehicle to run "rich". In turn causing all ofthe symptoms descibed above.

Engine starves for fuel after running about 50 miles or so...

Has Neon do same, I ran fuel at low level, on hot day, ran engine until it started to act up & threw a fuel pressure gauge on it. Was at approx 5 psi. Cold next morning, 48-50 psi. Always hot day about 30-40 miles into work in morning, o.k. Sit in hot sun all day & would happen 3-4 times on way home. Sit and let cool, 20 minutes or so & go again for a while. Cool day, no problem. Change pump I would.
