This info should be in the owners manual. Do you have one?

On drivers side internal door handle there's a small, joystick and an up-or-down switch. the former moves the mirror while the switch selects which mirror. good luck !

I have a 2007 LTZ Tahoe and this is the first time a little red light has come on the rear view mirror. Does anyone have a clue what it might mean?

I believe that light is the 'automatic day/night mirror' indicator. You can turn it on and off by pressing one of the buttons on the mirror. See owners manual for more info.

There is a blue light flashing on rear view mirror. Why?

Usually a flashing blue light is from an aftermarket installed alarm system or remote starter.
You may want to check your owners manual if the light is in the mirror glass.

How to close sunroof panel for BMW x3

1. Remove the panel above your centre rear view mirror.
(this is described in your cars owner manual)

2. When your rear sunroof is open, in the oppening gap you can see the control carriage. There is one Left and Right.

3. Take a screw driver and push both carriages backwards (use some but not extreme force). Possibly you can move one side and not the other, this is the symptom of the defect.

4. Take your (on board) hex wrench tool, put in the hex hole of the motor above your rear view mirror.

5. Manually close the roof.

take care to do this correctly.
Hope this helps

Interior rear view mirror fell off my 98 BMW 540i

There is a small set screw that holds the mirror to the small metal button. Most vehicles use a small Phillips screw but some use a Hex Key Wrench (Allen Wrench) type screw. Slide the mirror off the button. Make sure not to remove the glue before you put the button back on. Trace around the glue with a grease pencil on the outside of the windshield before you remove it. So you know exactly where to replace the button. You can buy a Rear View Mirror Adhesive Kit for around five dollars.

I WANT TO STOP MY SIDE VIEW MIRROR FROM TILTING DOWN WHEN BACKIG UP. 2002-525I BMW

Shift to reverse, adjust the mirror for normal, and save that to memory for that operator. This is presuming that you have not found a setting to turn off reverse mirror settings.....

I knocked my rear view mirror of the windscreen and can't get it

there should be a very small screw you have to loosen to put the mirror back in place and then tighten it back up again. i think it takes a very small allen wrench
