You will need special tools to remove the fuel lines, the filter is near the frame rail under the driver seat, if it is not there look for the fuel line and follow it to the tank.

I have a 86 ford f-250 w/ a carbed fuel to carb. was told i had very low oil pressure.would changing oilpump and assending unit fix my propblem? do i have to pull motor to change oilpump? what...

If you're not getting fuel to the carburetor, check/change your fuel filter, check the fuel pump. And for the oil pressure you can change the oil pressure sending unit to see if thats the problem, for the oil pump the oil pan has to come off, it can be changed without pulling the engine, however you still have to lift the engine up.

1985 ford f350 diesel will not allow the ignition to engage. Dash light says water in fuel. I put on a new fuel filter. Did not help. Can I bypass the sensor?

The Diesel engine doesn't have an ignition system. Also the dash light shouldn't cause it not to start? You said you changed the fuel filter right? After you started cranking it again did the lift pump fill the new filter up. I have had these before where the lift pumps go bad causing low lift pump pressure which causes the water in fuel light to be on. Did it die going down the road or did you shut it off and can't get it restarted.

Lost of power when accelerate, changed fuel filter but worse. engine light on also.

im assuming since u say u changed fuel filter that this is acummins diesel. and when u say that made it wirse it makes me suspect a failing/failed lift pump. the lift pump supplies low pressure fuel to your injection pump which creates the pressure for your engine to make hp/torwue sounds like enigine may have been starving for fuel then when filter replaced air in system caused further starvation. replace your lift pump
