SOURCE: serpintine belt diagram 2005 buick lacrosse

If there is no decal under your hood somewhere, you can usually get them by wrapping the belt, first, around the crank pulley, and then work your way around, putting flat sides to flat pulleys, and ribs to ribs. There may be a couple of different ways to go, but you'll figure it out.

SOURCE: how do I compress the rear brake piston on 2007

hi from uk most rear brake calipers have auto adjust mechanism and yours may be the same as on uk models whereas to compress the piston back into caliper to facilitate fitting new pads ? you have to both press and rotate piston and this sends piston back on the screw auto adjuster you will notice that piston has a couple of slots on its head ? this is there for enabling screw back having said this there is a rear caliper piston compress tool that does this job and the cheapest tool and good quality is made by draper tools and costs approx £10 in uk but can be obtained at any good auto stores and has instructions on use well worth the investment ? just one tip pistons normally screw back clockwise however! on fiats? the nearside screws anticlockwise so just observe that piston is going back when rotating c/wise if not you can fit a 3/8" drive extension and t bar to the rotator boss and using pressure ?turn piston a/clockwise hope this helps one word of advice !make sure you bleed brakes afterwards to clear out dirty fluid untill clean fluid shows this will improve brake pedal best wishes from uk

What to use to change a serpentine belt on a 2007 buick lacrosse

You need either a 14, 15, 16, or 17 mm wrench or socket. You just turn the belt tensioner to where it will loosen the belt, And then take the belt off. Do the same thing to get the belt on. It should look like either of these, DEPENDING ON WHAT MOTOR YOU HAVE. dy89302.jpg

We just purchased a 2005 Buick LaCrosse, but heard through the grape vine that a recall had been issued previously because the timing belts did not hold up due to the rubber they were made from. please...

Well, it's a good idea to change the timing belts every 80,000 mi. or so, and sooner under severe service. However, I have not heard about Buicks from the 2005 model year having a particular problem with the timing belts, more than any other brand.

I read over the gasoline engine recalls and didn't see it listed.

When should you change the serpetine belt on a 2006 buick lacrosse?

inspect the belt for visible cracks on the ribbed side, and glazing (shinny spots) on the smooth side. if any are present then its time to change it. I recomend a goodyear gatorback belt, they have a long life.

Hello my name is sharon and i have a 2007 buick lacross when im driving its a vibration in the front i change my tires out and purchase new tires

if the vibration is direct proportional with the speed, and is not dependent with braking, could be the wheels. Even if the tires are new, and rims are not bended, every time you change a tyre, that wheel must be echilibrated with a special machine in the service you are doing the tyre change.
If these operation was made, go to your local service. Don't underestimate the situation.

    Cheers.
