The two lights on the left side of my car wont turn off when i turn the car off. i disconnected the battery for about 10 mins and re-connected, but wont fix.

America, sounds like a relay problem, locate headlight/prk relay and switch it with one of the same to see if it solves issue, if it does get a new relay. Trailer light harnesses can also cause problems, especially when they have the adapters attached, you can try unhooking it, in case it is causing fault.

Low beam lights wont come on

First thing to do, is checking your fuse, then if fuse are ok, then check the relay, located under the hood by swtiching around with another relay of correct relay specs. If it works, then replace your relay, if not, check that relay if it works with another relay spot such as windows, and test the windows. If it is not the relay, then it could be your headlight lamps that is bad, check your rear tail lights to see if it comes on when you turn your headlights on, If the tail lights come on, then it is a good possibilty with the headlamps since the sorento are known to blow through head light bulb light crazy. I mean crazy. So maybe replace one side see if that would work, to really know for sure it's a headlight issue.

Head lights stay on when lights are turned off

Pull the headlight relay out of the socket, this should turn them off. The relay maybe be stuck internally, causing the lights to remain on. The relay is located in the PDC box under the hood. it is a black box with a removable lid, and the under side of the lid gives you a diagram of where each relay is. Replace this relay.

Head lights wont turn off 1999 avalon . running lights off but headlites stay on when key is off

You may have a siezed up head light relay, look in your user manul to locate the relay and tap it to see if it drops out. You should hear a click when you turn the head lights turn on and off.
If you pull the relay out while the lights are on, you should hear a click when the relay drops out, if you do then it is not the relay, it could be a switch

Relay box location. there is a problem with the drivers and pasangers window wont go up or down and the head lights dont work but the side lights will. therefore i think its the hrad lights

Fuse for window regulator (circuit breaker) on 13 position auxiliary relay panel. The wiring connectors are located at the lower left and right side kick panels. The auxiliary relay panel is located above the lower kick panel above the pedals.

Headlight fuse location:
#18 High beam right 10A
#19 High beam left 10A
#20 Low beam right 15A
#21 Low beam left 15A

Daytime running light relay location on upper (auxiliary) relay panel. This are the only ones using relays regarding your question.

From April 1999
Position 7, Relay #173

Through March 1999
Position 8, Relay #173

I have no headlights on 1988 mustang gt turn signals brake lights and parking lights and dash lights all work but the head lights wont come on checked all fuses and relays there all good thanks

Check headlight lamps... then follow the wiring from the bulb connections back and make sure you're getting a good solid ground connection. It may have a loose, broken, severed grounding wire.. it's usually attached to the car body at some location not far from the headlights.

I have no turning signals on my 1995 jimmy. The fuse is good and the four way flashers work. If the flasher was bad wouldn't the little turning signal light still light up on the dash? I'm not sure where...

there should be a set of huge fuses located on the top of the firewall under your hood. Look for a burnt fuse there or look for an outside fuse panel located close to the fender wall under the hood. Some makes and models also wont allow the lights to work in the dash even if there is a blown signal bulb.
