Take it to autozone for a free check engine scan and have them delete it (they wouldn't do this for you most of the time) or buy a cheap scanner then erase it yourself.

How do I turn off the "check Engine" light?

The "check engine light" turn on when any fault code is present in the system; for reset, unplug the battery few minutes, if the check light turn on again, its possible that you have any fault there and need scanning for know exaclty what fault code is.

My 1999 Trooper stopped running while I was going 60mph Now it wont start - nothing. All that happens when I turn the key is that the all the indicator lights on the dash board light up.

a defective crankshaft sensor would cause your engine to quit at any speed....but your engine should still turn over...thats the only suggestion I have beside checking and cleaning your battery connections.sorry I can't be of more help

Now that i changed my battery It doesnt want to start for me, what else could it be??

When you say it doesnt start, does it mean the engine wont turn over.? If yes , check your main fuse located just beside the battery plus terminal, the one with cable attached to it. Replace if busted. Are all the lights and horn functioning? Check also ground cable and connections.(- or minus side of the battery)
