THE AIR BAG CONTROL MODULE IS ON THE FLOOR AHEAD OF THE CONSOLE.BECAREFUL YOU CAN CAUSE AIR BAGS EMPLOYMENT ACCIDENTALLY.THEY ARE DANGEROUS.THE DEALERSHIP HAS TO RETRIEVE AIR BAG FAULT CODE.

it seems that you've got an airbag fault. they sell scanners at auto parts stores, there are actually different kinds. there are scanners to see why the check engine light is on, and there is an airbag system scanner. i know you can take your car to an auto parts store if your check engine light is on and they'll hook up a scanner for free to tell you what the codes are, but i'm not sure if they do the same with the airbag system. if you dont want to buy the scanner because odds are you're only going to use it the one time, i'd suggest taking it to your local shop or better yet a ford dealer to get it diagnosed. i hope this helped you, and good luck!
