Question about 1997 BMW 328
The back of the drivers seat is too far back, almost touching rear seat. Motor runs when switch is engaged, but seat-back does not move.
Gears are probably not engaged. take the seat out, see if the motor drive gear is still within the teeth of the seat rail. if not, force it in. Easy to take out, 4 bolts and the seat comes up and out.
