If I get suspended from work based on a lie can I bring charges against the person who told the lie?

Heide: I suppose you can, however, it can be hard to do. First, you need reliable witnesses to take your side and many times employees do not want to do that because they need their job. It is also time consuming. But if you DO decide to fight, most people start by trying to get unemployment, and that will not cost you anything. One important thing to consider: they have companies that will call your former employer and pretend they are thinking about hiring you and find out what they are saying. They are only allowed to say you were their employee and the dates you were employed by them and if they would rehire you. They are NOT allowed to say anything else especially things that will ruin your chance for re-employement.

Do you have black smoke or what looks like soot coming out of the tail pipe. The check engine light monitors fuel pressure through the computer and pressure regulator. It will come on if the pump pressure is too high or too low. If the pressure regulator is faulty it could cause excessive fuel consumption,

Replaced battery and abs started acting up they engage on normal dry pavement under normal stopping problems before battery change????

i believe the battery replacement is coincidental.the rear spindles of these vehicles dont drain water properly and as a result corrosion build up forces a white plastic cover on rear of knuckle against the wheel speed sensor which in turn rubs against huib assy.causing false wheel speed signals which engage the abs.simple to check.remove both rear sensors from spindle and look for evidence of rubbing.look CLOSELY its not always obvious at first has a service bulletin for this local dealer parts dept. they'll know what you need.

My passport was in the hands of my previous agency for a year now. I apply for DH to Malaysia Last 2009 and got my visa very fast. This agency paid all my fees with the trainings, medical, photos, and visa...

If you havent signed yet a contract working with this employer ,you dont have any problem. There must be a paper will come to you a job order where you can see the Employers Name and Signature whom you are working for and a Space beside it with your Name and Signature. This will proved that you have read and understand the job and the contract and agreed with the Employer that they want and like you as their worker. Then the Agency will process this after you have signed before your Visa arrives which is the last part. IF you didnt have all these, The Agency is Scamming you and it is Illegal and Fraud which they will be charged for Life Sentence and Pay Millions. or you can just pay the expenses paid by the employer like processing or photos or passport which is very cheap wont cost you 10,000. maybe only 500 passport, 50 photos and processing fee is 3000. Simple. let them read this and print it out. or Bring a Lawyer to put them in jail.

Check engine light came on week ago. changed battery today and now check engine light not on. Will check engine light come on later?

The check engine light may come on later. When the check engine light comes on the computer in your car logs a code. This trouble code may or may not cause drivability issues. The computer in your car always tries to fix the problem. If the check engine light is not on, there is not a problem. It may come on later if it detects another problem. Changing the battery could have fixed some problems. The ground system on the cars cause a lot of problems for technitians. If the trouble light is not on, don't look to spend a lot of money to look for problems that the computer is not picking up.

I replaced the battery but put it in backwards now the car wont go into gear and the esc and abs lights are on.

Some items/assemblies can be protected against incorrect polarity, others cannot. The extent of damage could be pretty bad; among the things that may be impacted:
- Alternator- These use diodes to make DC from the AC voltage it produces and applying reversed polarity to it will fry it internally. - Any device using 12V DC and employing solid state components; this includes: the main computer, the ABS computer if separate, braking computer if separate, stereo system and some types of sensors.
Restoring your car is likely to be very costly. You have my sympathy.

I have a 2000 Oldsmobile Silhouette- I am the original owner. The car has always had a bouncy ride in the back and when going over bumps with a person in the back seat (farthest back) on the passenger...

Wheel covers would not make this noise at all
Check the bushings in the control arms to the rear axle for cracks and wear. Also check the springs for there arch. If semi flat they will need replacing for that will create noise if they are worn out
