1997 honda accord lx - hazards and turn signals not working

I have checked fuses already. Interior turn signal indicator does not come on, no clicking noise when I activate the turn signal. This started when the hazard light button became jammed. I thought it was a turn signal problem because only the right side was flashing, but when pulling fuses, I discovered it was the hazards.I have unjammed the hazard light button. I have pulled, checked, and replaced fuses where appropriate - for the entire car, both in the engine compartment and the driver's side kick panel. Nothing. Is this a relay problem? A flasher unit, maybe?

SOURCE: Bussmann Flasher for Saturn

The flashers are timed thru the hazzard switch. The hazzard switchneeds replaced. As for your other problems, has to be a body control module. The dealer will need to program this peice, as it holds the miles.

SOURCE: no brake/hazard lights,have running/turn signal lights

Suggest you change hazard flasher 'can' first, then go to the hazard switch. I'm betting it's the flasher can.

Honda Accord 2006 turning signal not functioning

First check both front and rear lft side bulbs. Then, I would check the signal relay. I think it is under the dash one the left side. Here is want your are looking for. A new one cost about $12-$15 at most parts stores. Last I would suspect the signal switch assembly on the column. (Perchance you have a trailer hitch plug? If so look there too)

may sound stupid but you did check all bulbs and if so, the check the blinker switch in the steering column, it just works off of electrical contacts

I constantly hear the blinker in the car but the lights will not come on inside or outside of the car.

The hazard/turn signal flasher is a small square relay located right above the integrated control unit on the interior fuse block behind the left kick panel. If the flasher unit is functioning properly, you can hear an audible clicking sound when it’s operating. If the turn signals fail on one side or the other and the flasher unit doesn’t make its characteristic clicking sound, look for a faulty turn signal bulb. If both signals fail to blink, the problem may be due to a blown fuse (in the engine compartment fuse box, far upper left as you are facing the auto), a faulty flasher unit, a broken switch or a loose or open connection. If a quick check of the fuse box indicates that the turn signal fuse has blown, and the same thing happens after you replace it, you should check the wiring for a short.
To replace the flasher, simply (may be easier said than done) pull it out of the fuse block.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
Hope this helps you.
