307 cutting out - 307 Peugeot Cars & Trucks

My brothers 307 was starting poorly, lots of revs required to get it going. Plugs and coil replaced and each injector replaced in turn, (they thought one might be leaking overnight and flooding the cylinder, hence the rough start but fine afterward a good rev). The starting has improved but it also cuts out, shortly afetr starting, usually at the end of his road, a small residential street with no chance to put your foot down. Once its in the main road and he can give it some, it runs fine but its real hit and miss as to whether he'll get out of his street. Any thoughts?

    It's a 1.6 petrol btw, and a 307cc also.

Where is the fuel cut off switch on a peugot 307 52 plate 1.6

To the best of my knowledge Peugeot doesn't use a fuel inertia activated fuel pump switch. The switch is only activated and pump cut off in the event of a rear end collision to your car that exceeds 3 times the force of gravity.

Is the stereo supposed to stay on once the ignition key is turned off on a Peugeot 307 year 2004?

I don't have specifics on that vehicle because it is not sold here in the US but most newer vehicles have a "Delayed exit" feature that keeps those components active until the door is opened.

peugeot and citreon cars do bite high generaly, it is hydaulic there is no adjustment. but it also depends on how high it is ?? does it slip if you slightly rest your foot on whilst driving?? they do have a problem with the bearings going through the cover as it is the same bearing as a HDI . but you woud notice this as a different problem. ie noise or vibration on pedal. call me for more info .. paul @ the clutch centre..01527 64440 07790438337
