Question about 2000 Dodge Durango
I have a Durango i just bought a few months ago and had run fine until i parked it last friday. Went to start it the next day and it would turn over but as soon as it starts, it dies. I pushed the gas all the way to the floor and it started but wanted to die. Got it to warm up and let off the gas pedal and it idles at 600 but wants to drop downn to about 400rpms. Any ideas what could be the problem?
You might want to Check electronic sensors, like would you start with the idle control sensors. Also Try tot urn the ignition key to the point just before the engine starts to turn over And leave the key in the that position. If the fuel pump is located inside the gas tank, remove the gas cap & listen for a "whirring" sound. This sound means your electronic pumping is working.
