Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

It is a 7/8 ths Sized Wrench needed for it and you Simplt Unplug it and remove it and replace it. If you see a Problem with this Method , there IS a SPECIAL SOCKET for 02 Sensors and Same Procedure just with A Socket / Extention / Ratchet.

SOURCE: 2004 GMC Sierra Computer reset ??

I would suggest stopping by an AutoZOne or O'Reilly's and "borrow" their Scan Tool to erase any codes.
TO reset the "Change Oil" light, turn the ignition to ON (do NOT start the car). Press the accelerator pedal all the way down (then release) to the floor 3 times in less than 5 seconds. Change Oil light should flash then go off. If not, try it again. The trick is to get this done in 5 seconds ro less.

How to reset your computer

Disconnect the battery for a day or two and the computer will reset back to factory defaults, unless someone has connected a OBDC device and changed settings (OBDC readers cannot change settings, but some devices can, such as laptop computers with the necessary software and physical interface).

I changed the plugs wires, cap rotor and egr valve on a 97 sebring xji convertible. What is the best way to retrain the computer?

Normal driving should allow the computer to make any necessary adjustments, but if you want reset the computer to stock, you can disconnect the battery for a couple of hours, should clear the computer.

Hope this helps!

How do you reset oil change light

Hello,
To reset the oil light in your car follow these steps -
  1. Get in your car and shut the door.
  2. Put the key in the ignition and turn it forward to start (don't turn it over just till the chimes start sounding)
  3. Now in a rapid motion push the gas pedal to the floor 3 times. All the way to the floor each time.
  4. Now wait 5 seconds - during this time the light will blink then go off.
  5. Now turn your key back to where you can pull the key out of the ignition.
  6. Once all the chimes go off now you will turn the car over.
  7. Wait another 5 seconds and your light will reset permanently.

Your computer will sense when you have driven the miles necessary for an oil change. Should a warranty repair come into play they will access the computer readings to make sure the preventative maintenance has been conducted per manufacturer requirements. So keep a good record written as well and who did what.
Regards, Tony

Reset change oil light

hello, here is the instructions on how to reset the light

When the system has calculated that oil life has been diminished, it will indicate that an oil change is necessary. A CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON message will come on. Change the engine oil as soon as possible within the next 600 miles (1000 km). It is possible that, if driving under the best conditions, the oil life may not indicate that an oil change is necessary for over a year. However, the engine oil and filter must be changed at least once a year and at this time the system must be reset.
If the system is ever reset accidentally, change the engine oil at 3000 miles (5000 km) since last oil change.
To reset the Engine Oil Life System, do the following:
  1. Turn the ignition to ON, with the engine off.
  2. Slowly fully press and release the accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.
  3. The reset is complete when the chimes sound and the CHANGE OIL lamp goes out. If the lamp stays on and no chime is heard, repeat the reset procedure.
  4. Turn the key to OFF.
If the CHANGE OIL lamp comes back on when the vehicle is started, the engine oil life system has not reset. Repeat the procedure.
