Trying to replace serpentine belt on a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee to bypass the a/c

The a/c compressor locked up and I need to find a belt that I can put on that bypasses the a/c and a routing diagram that shows how to route the new belt? I know they have to make a shorter belt that I could replace the original belt with, don't they?

Assuming that you have A/C, the diagram for your serpentine belt is the following. Let me know if this is not what the pulleys in your vehicle look like and I will get you the diagram for no A/C. Thanks for using FixYa!s7024.jpg

Need to know length of serpentine belt to bypass A/C on a 1996 jeep grand cherokee 5.2 L

Take the old belt off. Place a piece of string around the pulleys in the correct routing location. The length of the string is the length of the belt you would need.

Trying to find a serpentine belt size with out Ac for a 1997jeep grand cherokee laredo. V8, 5.2L

You're not going to find a serpentine belt for that truck without AC because it didn't exist. They all had AC standard, which means, whether or not you RUN an AC system the compressor has to remain installed since the pulley was part of the serpentine routing.
