2008 Chrysler 300 2.7 fuel pressure regulator location

Hey Londell,
Hope this helps..tThis vehicle uses a saddle type tank a reservoir on both sides of the rear drive shaft. The fuel pump is in the module on the driver side of the vehicle and the fuel pressure regulator is in the module on the passenger side of vehicle. The fuel outlet is on the passenger side and supplies fuel to the engine. The fitting on the fuel pump module (Driver side) is a vapor line fitting that connects to the passenger side module. Both modules have fuel level sending cards. There are 2 hoses that connect the modules together one is the fuel supply line the other is a return or siphon hose. The lines are removed from the fuel pump module when servicing either unit. The ORVR (Onboard Refueling Vapor Recovery) control valve is in the passenger side module.

Where is the fuel filter for 2005 Chrysler 300 seems the car is having trouble getting the gas

I believe it is part of the fuel pump, so if you are going to change out the filter you probably should change out the entire pump.

The pressure regulator/filter assembly is the very top subassembly in the fuel pump module. The filter is built into the regulator assembly.

Inside of the fuel tank. Chrysler, in their infinite wisdom, decided to place the fuel pressure regulator, the fuel pump, and the fuel filter inside of the tank in one unit.

Describe the location of the replaceable fuel filter on a 2005 chrysler 300 with a v 8

Hello richardcr341: My name is Roger and I will answer your request. As you have noticed there is no filter that you can see. The reason is the filter is located inside of the fuel cell or tank. What you call a filter is now called a strainer. The strainer is sold as part of the fuel pump unit. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. This way I know it was helpful. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

Fuel filter Chrysler 300 crd ?

The question was for a 300 CRD (assuming the "D" is meaning diesel). In which case this is located directly on top of the engine, under the plastic cover right in the middle.

It's a standard service item to be replaced at ever service. Provided you have enough patience to get the 2 pipe clips back on securely the whole job takes about 20 minutes to do.
