SOURCE: REPLACED RADIATOR 1998 CHEVY SILVERADO

Make sure clamps are tight, you have the transmission fluid which runs through a part of the radiator to cool the fluid. There should be two transmission lines going to the radiator, inlet and outlet, make sure they are on properly and the clamps are tight.

Change the combination power steering hose which is leaking

Is it the power steering hose or a transmission line.Honda does not usually attach power steering lines to the radiator, but the transmission cooler lines are attached to the bottom of the radiator. If it is the transmission cooler line leaking, simply replace the line from the radiator to the transmission with 1/2 inch transmission line and some new clamps.May want to do both lines while you are making the repair.

Trans fluid in radiator tray

You are leaking transmission fluid from either the fluid cooling lines that run from transmission to a separate reservoir in the radiator, or leaking from the reservoir itself. Hopefully, it's only the lines and may just need tightening to stop the leak.
There are two lines to the radiator's reservoir. One brings fluid from transmission to the reservoir, and a return line back into the transmission. Probably located on driver's side of the radiator, one will be near top of radiator, and one near the bottom. Small copper or steel lines that may also turn into rubber lines. Clean the area well with rags to locate the leak. Will probably need to have the car running to make it leak, while looking for it. You could also take a wrench and try tightening the fittings at the radiator, and tighten any rubber hose clamps that you see. If it's not the lines or hoses that are leaking, then the radiator may need to be pulled off for repairs or replacement. But 9 times out of ten, it is a leak from one of the lines.
When fixed, don't forget to check your transmission fluid level. Or keep adding till it is fixed.

Coolent in my transmission

If you have coolant in your transmission, then you must have a hole in your radiator lower tank. The coolant lines attach to the lower portion of the radiator and it is possible that it has rusted or corroded and the coolant is leaking under pressure.

I have a 2004 Cherokee and there is coolant in the transmission. Any idea how it got there?

No coolant is suppose to be in transmission. How it got there is easy, you radiator has transmission lines running through the bottom of it. Your radiator has an internal leak into those trans lines. You'll probably find oily substance in coolant also.

Coolent lose

Check youre waterpump...also spending 5 dollars on "Radiator STOP Leak" is a good investment. its an additive you add to youre radiator. If the actual radiator has a small crack or leak, this will fix it. Check every inch of both the upper and lower radiator hoses and connections.
