1995 Chev s-10 Blazer

I am trying to remove the dash and have it about halfway off. I appears to be stuck on the Emergency brake cable. I am trying to replace the heater core and am at a stand still. I have the Haley Repair manual, but there are no directions on removing the dash. I have disconnected all the wires and such, have the steering wheel down and can not get the dash pulled away far enough to actually remove the old heater core. Any suggestions? I actually went to the website for the OHIO library and can not get the repair manual and diagrams to come up. Need help please...
