Question about 2005 Chrysler Crossfire
The drivers side sun visor will not stay up. Can this be fixed - or do I need to buy a new visor? Can you get individual ones or do you have to buy a set? Where is the best place to get new ones?

I found a chrysler blog. Pull back carpet on passenger foot well, remove white styrofoam computer protector. Remove cardboard cover (remove two screws) from bottom of glove box. On Left side see a slot with plastic cover and two sliding latches. Open and remove and replace filter. Follow reverse to finish up. It is tight fit and hard to get to for normal sized man.

Try using urethane sealant to redo the seal between the top and the glass.
I have a VW convertible that had the same problem. The sealant comes in a tube that you use in a caulk gun. Made by 3M and I purchased it from Advance Auto. About 18 bucks.

i posted the same problem paid to have it sealed with silicone and came loose again. i roll a towel and shove it under the window to support it I am looking for after market top. I was told this was a COMMON problem. even though a trim shop did the repair you can tell where it soaked through the top. I am going to do it myself this time. but am going to still use the towel for support till i replace the top how sad that chrysler doesnt fix this problem.

SOURCE: on my 2005 Chrysler Crossfire,
There could be a couple of reasons why it came off.It could have been a bad belt or a tensioner pulley that has become weak. Also while the car is running make sure that none of your pulleys aren't wobbling this would also cause it to pop off.Be sure that there is no fluid of any type is leaking onto the belts.
