SOURCE: 2003 Jaguar S-Type, programming a key fob

If its a new key fob the only way you can program it is this the factory scan tool, u'll have to take it to a dealership for them to do this and they will charge you .5 hrs for labor.only x-types can be programmed without the jaguar software. Im guessing it will cost you between 40 and 50 bucks to have them program it.

Having problems with my radio not working where is the aerial on my a4 cabrio.

I have 2003 A4 Cabrio. Had 2 radio problems - one the volume control and the other not picking up radio channels. I got a reconditioned radio from Audi for £213 which fixed the volume but the signal still not working. Read another article. The ariel cable runs into the lid of the boot - you can see it on the right. I removed the emergency triangle and behind it is the ariel wire. Wiggled it and confirmed the problem was there. Got the signal back but it might be temporary - cable may be damaged or a connection problem because there are amps behind the trim. I have not taken the whole trim off but a lot of it unclips so you can see what is behind

Lost radio code

Check the driver's manual for the code. Sometimes it's on a card that is in with the manual. Put in the code with the numbered buttons on the radio and the radio will work again. This is to prevent theft.

Radio code

The radio will have to be removed from the car dashboard .

Then please quote the MAKE + MODEL of your radio plus ALL the LETTERS and NUMBERS on any LABELS , BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING.

Also confirm the MAKE of CAR it is fitted into.

Antenna broke off

Hi

Any main dealer should have one, and you can fit it yourself.
All you have to do, is undo the lock nut ring, switch on the radio, and pull out the old mast.
Feed in the new one as far as possible, and switch off the radio,
this will pull in the rest of the ariel mast, then tighten up the lock ring.

Good Luck !
