Question about 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera
The soft top roof hadn't closed (open) properly when battery went flat. Battery has been recharged but the roof will neither open fully or close. Any ideas or suggestions?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Theres a keyhole on the back of the siren in the engine bay, if the key is in your possession you can turn off the alarm with this - Hopefully*
Also the control boxes for the alarm/immobiliser are usually under the front seats, there are 3 boxes throughout the car and they can be hard to find, each has a fuse - check the fuses and replace any that are blown - plugging and replugging the fuses may reset the immobiliser anyway
I can't find a manual for it but i'm looking - try this out first and tell me what happens - there IS a proper reset procedure - but it's not exactly broadcast.
i'll do my best to track down the manual for the pa1000, but it is an obsolete system and will be hard to find.

SOURCE: I am a car detailer
If it happened to me, I'd use a cleaner to try to clean the top, the PW removed embedded dirt in the top in the spray pattern, so now you are going to have to remove what wasn't taken off by the PW-a good cleaner, with a stiff brush, done by hand should get it even, then use a dressing of some type (detailer finish) for canvas to make it consistent color-wise.
