Question about 1997 Toyota Corolla
1997 toyota corolla - sportif
The warning buzzer that goes off when you open the door to get out, and you have left the lights on - I really need this to work!
It works when the passenger door is opened, but not the drivers side!
Also the interior lights don't come on either when the drivers door is opened, but they do for the passenger!
The ground circuit for the driver side door switch is compromised, or the door switch is bad. Try this: Remove the black rubber cover from the door swich. Using a 10 millimeter wrench or socket, loosen & tighten the switch retention bolt. See if the dome light flickers. If so, the ground on the switch is bad, & just needs cleaned up. If not, remove the switch, and touch the wire behind the switch to the body,or the bolt hole. If the dome light lights, you need a door switch. Your problem is entirely in the door switch/ground/wiring. Hope this helps, and thanks for choosing FixYa.
