The rear brake shoes use a U clip to hold the shoes together. A simple solution to this change job is to change one side at a time.
Slowly unclip the U clip from the top of the shoe and remove the left shoe and spring. Replace the left shoe and reconnect the U clip, then do the same for the other shoe. Clean, adjust, and grease the self adjuster and you're done. Do the same for the other side of the van. If you take both sides of the clip off you're in for some heavy duty stretching with pliers unless you have the right tool.

Previously mentioned proble. Turned out it was the ABS. I'm sorry I can't remember the part name but I believe it was the main distribution module. But, it is the ABS.system for sure

usually this is caused by moisture rust build up in the drum since they dont breath well. do you not drive alot or is it wet there? best chance at a remedy is to periodicly remove drum and spray out w solvent. a film of grease on the axle flange and the drum hub helps too. make sure whell cylinder is not seizing or e-brake sticking causing them to drag, heat up, and bake the lining which will make them sing a high pich tune

Thats quite alot to explain in writing. The best thing you should do is go to any local auto parts store and buy a repair manuel for that car ( haynes or chiltons). They're only twenty bucks and it will walk you through the whole process with illustrations. Plus theirs also instructions on how do just about every repair. I hope this helped you out. Good luck.....MIKE-
