The fuel pump is powered by same wires on start and while running, check fuel pump relay, it should be in fuse box, if fuel pump is faulty you can buy replacements here:

Where is the fuel pressure regulator located on a 2003 Kia Rio 1.6 liter

Usually on one end of the fuel rail. It'll have a vacuum line plugged into it.

2011 KIA Sorrento 2.4 were is the fuel pressure regulator located. put on adjustable fuel reg .need to disconnect stock one

fuel pressure regulators are normally located in the fuel manifold. They are either vacuum controlled or electronic controlled to maintain the right fuel pressure for engine requirements and to shut off the fuel pump when the ignition is turned off
If your manually adjusted unit will not do all that then you are asking for fault codes to appear and all sorts of problems to occur

Where is it on 2002 kia rio fuel test port don't

You would have to test the fuel pressure on this vehicle by connecting to the line coming from the fuel filter to the fuel rail, there is no actual fuel test port on this vehicle. if you do decide to test the pressure... here is what your pressure readings should be>> Fuel Line Pressure 46-51 psi (320-350 kPa)
This actually sounds like a Fuel Pressure Regulator issue. I would recommend replacing the regulator and see how the vehicle responds after that..

Hope this helps...

I have a 2002 kia rio the code that came up is p1166 how do i fix

P1166. Primary HO2S (No. 1) Heater System Electrical.

Replace O2 sensor. Iif it smells rich then you are getting too much fuel. You may have a problem with the fuel pressure regulator or a leaking fuel injector. This can also be caused by bad oxygen sensors.

My 2001 Kia Rio idles rough and won't go over 2000 rpms. I can only get to about 20 km/h. I got the fuel filter and spark plugs replaced. Changed the mass air flow and the throttle position sensor. Still...

It may me the Transmission Modulator Value.
a small diaphram value that measures pressure and tells the transmission when to change gears. If the diaphram is leaking it never can measure the right pressure. its on the transmission housing. Just disconnect and screw it out.

Kia mentor 1997 will not start have tried new coil, spark is alright but yet wont fire

If you have spark, then the next thing to look for would be fuel to fuel rail and good pressure, if low pressure, change fuel filter, check for faulty fuel pressure regulator and check fuel pump relay. If you are getting good fuel pressure, the next thing to look for is a faulty sensor

2001 kia rio fuel pump does not work

Are you positive its the fuel pump? Have you tried running the pump with the return line off to see if it pumps fuel? They don't always have to make a noise.
