It will depend on what the outside or ambient temperature is. Please refer to the link for a chart of what the corresponding temp and pressures are. http://idqusa.com/faqs/?faq=6

SOURCE: No fuel to the injectors on a 1997 Chevy c1500.

can be the distributor or maybe the fuel pump let the truck sit and then turn key almost on but not enough to initiate start up and see if you hear pump in the gas tank and if thats not it, it could very well be your distributor it might  be moist in the cap or button area

SOURCE: Searching for low-side port to recharge AC on 1997

hello dsouris: Locate the A/C accumulator on the left inner fender well. This will be a round aluminum cylinder with two lines coming out of it. Follow the large line that runs back to the firewall. You should see a shadder valve in this line. This will be the suction line or low side line. This will be the line used to charge the A/C system. If you need further help please just ask. If this information please rate the information as it helps.Thank You for using FixYa. Roger

sounds like the airbox doors are not working these are located behind the dash passengers side, a chiltons manual availible at most parts stores for around $25 will give you diagrams and steps to access this area if u need that help

SOURCE: 1996 Chevy C1500 Fan/ac/temperature control goes out

The thermostat controls are a recalled part. Many of them shorted quikly. If you get a used one, of course it will have the same problem. If your wiring has not been damaged the you just need to buy the updated standard thermostat controls from a dealer.

Everytime i get my ac charged in my 94 chevy 350 it quits working after 2 weeks. is it my compressor?

If it last 2 weeks and you can recharge it and it will work another 2 weeks it is a leak. Have the system checked for leaks. Your losing Freon somewhere.

2000 isuzu rodeo, ac blows outside air temp, i tried to recharge. when i connected unit the gauge read 70 psi. i let out psi to 50. put the charge in and it took 90% of can and read 55 psi. it still blows...

COULD BE A FEW DIFFERENT THINGS. HAVE YOU TRIED TO SWAP THE A/C RELAY FOR ANOTHER? IT COULD BE A BAD ACCUMULATOR SWITCH OR A CLOGGED ORIFICE TUBE, OR A DEFECTIVE LOW PRESSURE CUT-OFF SWITCH. TOO MANY TO LIST. TRY THE RELAY AND LET ME KNOW. HOPE THIS HELPS. BEST OF LUCK. THANKS FOR USING FIX-YA AND HONEST RATING IN ADVANCE.
