Transmission shutter on take off from a stop light when vehicle is warmed up only

depending on the transmission , it could be a clutch plate problem ( oil on the plate) or failing engine mounts if clutch cable operated
if auto it could need an oil change as the oil may be causing the bands and clutch packs to stick monentarily
ther is not enough information to be certain but if it is a manual with a cable clutch , the first place I would be checking is the engine mounts simply because ine end of the cable is attached to the motor and the other to the cabin and if the engine is allowed to move from weak mounts then the clutch is in an situation during take of from the engine reaction to the load applied
on over run it will not happen as the engine is not under load

Between first and second gear it shutters/vibrates

Low transmisson fluid, Transmission filter or faulty transmission pump, the pump usually will whine before it goes out tho, Im leaning towards the filter or low fluid. Check your transmission control selonoid.

Transmission shudder on 1997 Mercury Gran Marquis

When you get a shutter- drag the brake pedal lightly-
that will turn off the torque converter clutch if the solenoid
is working

The rpm should go up with any brake pedal application-
if the converter is releasing

If you determine the torque converter clutch is bad & the
shutter, then the trans has to come out

Check engine & trans mounts also for wear

Transmission is shuttering at low rpm. shifts fine when accelerating or decelerating but shutters when cruising at a steady speed

A while back you posted a question about a shuttering problem with your GMC at steady speeds. I am currently having the same issue with mine and can not seem to find an obvious problem. Did you get the problem fixed? If so, do you mind sharing what the problem was? I would appreciate it.

Transmission shutters or bucks especially when lugging up a hill and have to really step on the gas to downshift then the shutter or bucking stops. Sometimes will buck or shutter on flat

Check to see if there is a big rubber joint between the shaft that comes out of the rear of your trans and the rest of the propshaft, autos are prone for tearing these, if it is not that maybe bushes from trans too chassis

1992 Buick Lesabre with 43,000 miles occasionally the transmission will shutter when I accelerate and it tries to downshift from overdrive to 3rd gear,

Sounds like the valves in the valve body are sticking, and maybe a lock up converter.Try this brand ,lube guard, for transmissions,it can be found at napa auto parts,it is the beat, and will most likely fix the problem,it is for transmission shutter.

2004 GMC sierra 5.3 eng 1500 transmission shutter 40-55 mph

I too have that problem. I own a 2005 GMC Yukon. Shutters between 40 + 55 mph. I thought for sure the stumble I felt was a plug or coil pack because it only does it under a load. With A/C on the whole truck shakes! But it wasnt the plugs or coil packs. Answers anyone?
