Question about 2001 Chevrolet Venture
Where ar the spark plugs?
The generic answer is "in the cylinder head".
A 2001 is only equipped with a 3.4L VIN code "E" V-6 engine. This engine is equipped with a three-coil ignition system with plug wires running from each of the coils to two of the 6 cylinders. There are 3 cylinders on the right bank (the side closest to the driver) and three cylinders on the left bank (the side closest to the radiator).

The spark plugs can be located by following the spark plugs wires. The wires originate at the coils located on the backside of the engine under the wiper cowl area. The front three plugs are easy enough to get to. The back three can be quite a challenge. They can be changed from the top side but you will have to do this by feel. Sometimes it helps to remove the coil pack/module bracket assembly but again two of the nuts will have to be removed by feel rather than by site. they can also be accessed from under the vehicle but again it is not easy.
Good luck and let me know if you have any questions.

SOURCE: Changing spark plugs in the
well yes they are, here is how we mechs do it. either on a lift and from ender neath the vehicle, and if this is not possible then we take the upper dog bone looking mounts off the engine and pull the engine forward by the use of a ratchet strap, this gives us more room in there for tools, and also makes it easier to reach. good luck
