When I am driving even at 30 mph my cars ESP light comes on and I find it hard to get the car over 30mph it mostly happened when I was taking off and picking up speed then the car would struggle to get to 50. I could have my foot to the board and it wouldn't pick up speed. I would drive it maybe 40mph on the motorway until it cleared itself but always when this happens the ESP light flashes. I have turned it off and it seems to be better the ESP that is. Any ideas? Audi keep telling me they can't find any fault coming up its as though I'm making it up.
When a problem like this arises the very 1st thing that must be done is to have the electronics scanned for fault codes, this is the how the diagnosis of the problem is started, otherwise you are just guessing.

sounds like maybe a leaking head gasket, or youre loosing pressure. My truck does the same thing going up moderate hills, always having to downshift.
There are addiditive you can buy that "fix" leaks, i havent done any real tests, but its cheap and can see if it helps

- Buy a CR2032 3V battery
- Pry open the battery cover on the remote using a flat head screw
driver or a table knife. The pivot point is the chain ring holder opposite to the key.
- Replace battery
