Question about Cars & Trucks
I have checked the bulbs, fuse and the brake switch, but all are in working condition. My front, back and park lights work fine aswell. My multimeter is slightly broken, but seems to measure electricty flow from the wires to the brake switch. The only thing I can think of is that I should just replace the switch anyway, incase what I think is normal is really broken.
Yes the brake light switch operated when close to the brake light switch. If you replace it and it doesnt remedy you need to check the pigtail of the lamp and see if power is there whe the brake switch is in the closed position(stepping on the brake pedal) If you are equipt with a brake light module failure you will need to bypass this module
