When breaking, loud squeaking, high pitched sound happens, break pads are at 50/60%. What could it be, I don't want to go to a shop and get taken advantaged of

if in need pads are at 60% then more then likely its the type of pad. lower grade pads will make noise vs the higher end pads. some times you can take them off and sand them down a little, but that only works for a while

My toyota corolla2005 rear right side wheel scrubing th tire when breaks

I would first check the break parts on that tire. remove the tire...making sure you take the precaution to chock the other tires and use an appropriate jack and proceed to removing the tire. Once the tire is down look at the the components for wear. Some break pads come equipped with a metal blade that once the pad wears out this metal plate comes in contact with the rotar or drum and makes a high pitch metal grind sound. This would be the indicator to change your pads and may possibly need to resurface your rotars or drums to spec. Let me know if that's what it was. GE.

What does squeaking sound while breaking mean?

it may mean nothing, squeaks from brakes area not uncommon. on the other hand, if the noise changes when you apply the brakes or if you just haevnt had the brakes inspected latley, it could be the wear indicator rubbing, this means the brakes are at the minimum thickness and should be replaced

Idles too high/turn signal don't shut off

It sounds like there is a vacuum hose leak or break and is causing a lean condition in the engine. it can make it idle fast. I dont think the signal problem is related.

Breaks have a high pitch squeal when i break ata any speed. got breaks checked out and mechanic saidneverything was fine

A high pitch squeal is typically normal. However I have NEVER liked it.

I would replace your brakes with a higher quality brake pad, and see if you still have the problem.

Your pads can squeal when they are getting low, i would also get a second opinion on the condition of the pads.

You have a break caliper tied up and or the break hoses are bad and not leting the fluid flow back to the resavor. I just got done with my wifes 2001 Durango. New rotors, calipers, pads, and front break hoses, This makes 3 times in the last 3 years i had to put calipers on it. This time i put break hoses on to, was told by reliable sourses thats what the problem is break hoses i took no chanses i did the whole thing.
