Then you likely have a defective electric fuel pump. The pump is located inside the gas tank and the tank must be removed from the truck to access the pump.

SOURCE: need wiring diagram for the ecm on a 94 chevy s10

Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is connected to the throttle shaft on the throttle body. It is a potentiometer with one end connected to 5 volts from the VCM and the other to ground. A third wire is connected to the VCM to measure the voltage from the TPS. As the throttle valve angle is changed (accelerator pedal moved), the output of the TPS also changes. At a closed throttle position, the output of the TPS is low (approximately 0.5 volts). As the throttle valve opens, the output increases so that, at wide-open throttle, the output voltage should be approximately 4.5 volts. By monitoring the output voltage from the TPS, the VCM can determine fuel delivery based on throttle valve angle (driver demand).

if its throttle body then your injector is rusted up or your wiring has gone bad on that one side your getting gas to injectors so that is good. look at the one injecting gas and see if it is injection in a good cone with out big drops of gas if should be nice and fine hopes this helps.

I have a 92 chevy c1500,new fuel pump and filter but truck is hard 2 start.if i pour gas in throttle body bowl it starts right up. what could b the problem?

Sounds like the injector is not supplying the proper amount of fuel. Try unpluging the TPS first and then the IAC motor, both located on the trottle body.

Have a 1992 chevy tahoe, husband had the fuel pump replaced in the gas tank, it ran pretty good for 3 days, now it wont get gas into the throttle body. if he dumps fuel down the throttle body it will run...

It may still be the fuel pump I have seen many aftermarket pumps fail within days, even hours. Check the fuel pressure it should be around 60 psi. if not its prob the pump but don't overlook the relay.

After you dump the fuel in the throttle body it will continue to run on its own or die as soon as it burns up all the fuel you dump in? Do you have access to (Noid lights)? Are both plugs attached to the distributor?

you could put the pickup on a cylinder pressure test and see if you have a bad valve causing the engine to pop.
you could have a bad wire or spark plug.
the timming chain could of went off a cog on the timming sprokets causing to pop.
gettin to much gas could cause it to.
