Question about Cars & Trucks
Low, high flash at the same time.you can hear the transfer case switching but you have to play around with the buttons a bit, don't know if it is in low or high with out road test. Have the electronic actuator switch in the right side outer panel out and wonder if this could be the problem.

the module is what i would suspect. and i do believe it is in the r kick panel. i've seen the button pack on dash go bad too, but module is best bet.

sounds like it is loosing vacuum check all the lines for a crack even the engine lines will cause it to loose vacc. pressure. if it is not run to the vacuum reserve canister you may not have enough vacc. to hold the actuator in several times I just run new lines and that helped and not very costly.

Check the switch on the transfercase remove the vacume lines if there is oil in them the switch has to be replaced and the lines should be cleaned out you should also check under the battery tray to make sure the boot is not ripped that controls the leaver to engage the front axel

SOURCE: Actuator switch or Transfer Case
The acuator switch is soo easy to replace for about 15-20$ just replace that first, also if its the acuator switch the light down at the shift bow will NOT light up. If it were your t-case normally it would light up but nothing would happen
