Question about 2004 Ford Freestar
I had the same problem. It kept getting worse until I convinced my husband that I just needed a new battery. New battery = problem solved.

Your radio has what is called the keep alive memory, check the fuse, either that fuse is defective or a wire has a defective connection at the back of the radio. Fuse location will be in your owners manual under ROAD SIDE EMERGENCIES.
