The way this car was made is for this problem to ONLY be fixed by the dealer! No other repair shop just cost me $700+ dollars. There are no other solutions. Sorry.The dealer will say it's a cluster.It's because of the built in security system, and no it can be removed.

Hello tcb476: My name is Roger and i will answer your question. The fuel pump relay on your Oldsmobile Achieva is located under the hood. Open the hood and look at the left strut tower. You should find a relay block attached to the tower..There should be 4 relays. Three of them will be in a row. The center relay should be your fuel pump relay. Could be any of the following:
New switch it is defective
You did not get all the wires back on
A wire broke while you were changing out the switch
Loose connecting in the circuitry (hardest one to solve)
