What fault code is 1664 on a c220 cdi 2003

Fault code P1664 is the Electric Heater Open current and stored. It is a most common fault on these models. If you will try to find it is in the engine compartment by the engine block above the starter motor. As I remember are not repairable and you have to change it. I personally suggest ask a qualified technician to do the job for you.Ask and how much is the cost.

2006 dodge intrepid code reads P164

I THINK it is a transaxle problem.
The book states the code is for the 1-4 upshift lamp control circuit.
I don't know what the "lamp" part means. Normally it would mean a bulb such as the light for the shifter or the wipers, etc.

Ford Mondeo fault code p1664

Hi there:

P1664 does indeed relate to the pump and often coincides with another code. It's usually related to the electrical side of the fuel pump but is usually more complicated than a fuse I'm afraid.

Before writing the pump off I personally would consider changing the crank or cam sensor as the pump requires the correct signal from these to work, these will not always throw a code for themselves, at the very least check the crank sensor for dirt or damage.

When things start getting complicated down this route - not to mention expensive, it's worth involving a good Auto electrician as they can test that all the electrical side of the fuel system is getting the correct signals, our local specialist will come out if we're scratching our heads with something and most issues are resolved in less than an hour.

I hope this helps.
