He may have locked up the pin sequence. You might need to buy a new switch not that exspensive. Stay away from the dealership or it will be.

SOURCE: How can I program my 2006/7 Honda accord radio,

Your car’s audio system will disable itself if it is disconnected from electrical power for any reason. To make it work again, you must enter a specific five-digit code in the Preset buttons. Because there are hundreds of number combinations possible from five digits, making the system work without knowing the exact code is nearly impossible.
You should have received a card with your manual (if you have one) that lists your audio system’s code number and serial number. If you don't have the card, you can get the code number from your Honda dealer, but to do this, you will need the system’s serial number.
If your car’s battery is disconnected or goes dead, or the radio fuse is removed, the audio system will disable itself. If this happens, you will see ‘‘Code’’ in the frequency display the next time you turn on the system. Use the Preset buttons to enter the five-digit code. If it is entered correctly, the radio will start playing.
Hope this is helpful.

You might want to check your fuses. They should be in a compartment under the dash on the far left. The cover will indicate which fuse is for what. Inspect and replace.

Replace lock cylinder and get a new key with chip. Solution 2, Get a new lock cyl put old chip key in it and plug it in to connector under dash where the one from the stg column is connected. Now start car with a duplicate old chip key, { no chip needed} from the original lock cyl. Hide the new cyl under dash or make a place for it where you can remove key for the anti theft to work.

The cheapest place to start is to replace all of the vacuum lines. If they are old, dried out, and cracked, that might be your problem.
