it's located in the power distribution box. the power distribution box is located in the engine compartment next to the battery on a 1999 Taurus. for your 2006, start by checking for the power distribution box near the battery.

Look in your owner manual for the 3 fuse box locations. It is similar to our Lincoln LS.

There is a 175 amp mega fuse in the wire harness near the luggage compartment fuse box. In circuit with Red/Blue wire.

Passenger compartment fuse panel

The fuse panel is located on the right hand side kick panel. Remove the

panel cover to access the fuses.

To remove a fuse use the fuse puller tool provided on the fuse panel

cover.

The engine compartment power distribution box is located on the left hand side of the engine compartment above the wheel well, and the central (inside) power distribution box is located under the LH side of the dash, left of the steering column.
