Try checking out "carsandparts.com". This is a site from a magazine that specializes in old cars and has a very extensive classified ad section of good used and reman parts as well as period correct replacements. The ads are blocked by make and model. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: SMOKE COMING FROM HEATER VENTS

Sounds like the heater core has failed. If I remember correctly though that is likely the easiest core to replace out of just about anything ever made. (the one that has about ten screws holding it into the top of the heater box on the engine side.) Possible that when the heater control valve was replaced someone pulled too hard on one of the heater hoses and split the neck on the core, but you won't know that till you get it out.
Good luck

SOURCE: I need to remove the rear seat of a 96 Lincoln Continental

Push the lower seat cushion toward the rear of the car and lift, there's 2 hooks approx. 12" or so either side of the center of the seat.
The seat back is held in with 2 bolt located on the lower outside corners.

You'll have to unbolt the seatbelts from the floor to completely remove the seat back.

1995 Lincoln Continental, passenger seat won't tilt back forward

YOU HAVE A SWITCH OR A TILT ACTUATOR MOTOR PROBLEM. LINCOLNS HAVE 5 OR 6 ELECTRIC MOTORS MOUNTED ON THE UNDERSIDE OF EACH FRONT SEAT WHICH REQUIRES REMOVING THE SEAT TO INSPECT .THEIR ARE ALSO CABLES ATTATCHED TO THESE MOTORS SO LISTEN WHEN YOU HIT THE TILT SWITCH DO YOU HEAR A MOTOR NOISE? IF YOU DO THEN YOU MAY HAVE A BAD CABLE.

stay away from the front drive continental, the seat is the least of the problems on those cars. they have bad air ride suspension systems, and weak transmissions DO NOT BUY IT buy a towncar instead

1999 lincoln continental drivers power seat won't work

Could be any number of items related to the seat
power motor circuit

Start by removing & testing the switches

If modules are involved, then it will be beyond
your ability to diagnose ,without a trouble chart

Check any fuses that apply

If a fuse is blown,replacing it won't
likely fix the issue, only blow again

90 lincoln continental lost power in all power windows power locks and both driver and passenger power seats but still get power to door panel lights and power mirrors checked all fuses in both fuse panels...

Hello, in regards to your problem, it sounds like you have "Fuse" problem, still. Possibly a flaky one. Make sure you sure a Volt meter to check them. I believe all those devices you listed, are all powered by the same fuse. If you have a diagram of your under-dash fuse panel, I believe that fuses is listed in the middle of the diagram. Its like a 20 or 25 amp fuse. Those items listed, **** a lot of juice. Those devices are all hard-wired, electromechanical components, all the controls are in the door, you can disassemble those control modules, and see if they need cleaning, all the modules are all mechanical. I know for sure for the Power seats, I had a situation, where the seats would not recline properly, once I cleaned the switch, the problem was solved.
I hope this helps. -- Alfredo
