SOURCE: the truck dies while I am driving

I read this in a blog and it worked for my truck. I cleaned the throttle body and the air filter. It seems to be starving for air when you are just at idle cause it would not die when I was going down the road. Only if I was pulling into park with the rpms really low. Just pull the intake off and clean the throttle body. You will see a bunch of gunk. Clean it until it turns silver again.

These vehicles are known for faulty antitheft systems. When they start to fail, the car turns off the fuel injectors as a theft deterrent. Next time it stalls, look for a light on the dash that says SECURITY or ANTITHEFT. If you see this light, this link will help you.

My 1996 Buick Skylark keeps cutting out and dying while driving down the road

This may be due to the antitheft system. GM's are notorious for these parts failing. When it dies again, look for a light that says "security" somewhere on the dash. If you see this light, this link should help you. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

Was the cam sensor tested & was it found to be bad?

Have a diagnostics done as it might as well be a faulty Air Mass Sensor or some other sensor.
