attached to the throttle body,looks like an electric motor bolted to a square piece with the corners notched out,with 2 wire connector on the end.

SOURCE: where is the location of
The Heater Control Valve is in line with a heater hose that blocks
coolant flow to the heater core when heat isnt being used. Not all
vehicles are equipped, I dont know exaclty if the 2003 Ford Crown Victoria 4.6L SFI 8cyl has one.
