Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 2001 Chrysler neon

Need wiring diagram to try and fix my dome light and trunk light in my neon.

CAUTION! SRS airbag wires are not enclosed in protective loom at the steering column. They are a twisted pair of wires that run with rest of
ignition harness. Be careful not to cut or probe these wires.

+12v battery wire: Pink or Pink w/White Stripe
+12v Ignition wire: Red w/ White Stripe
Front Right speaker -: Blue w/ Red Stripe
Front Left speaker -: Brown w/ Red Stripe

SOURCE: 2001 Dodge neon runs on cylinders 2&3 only.

probably a coil problem, it's mounted right on top of the valve cover, right out in the open

Sorry to say there isnt one available (if its the factory stereo)...the only diagrams available would be for the wiring in the up to the connector at the back of the radio

I'd re-check the accessory fuse that controls the lights...its blown.

I have a 2002 and one day had no headlight or dash lights. The tail lights, blinkers and hazards work just fine as do the radio of dome lights. Changed the multi-function and checked all fuses, but no help. I am interested in the solutions as well.

Dome/ Trunk Lights don't work
The dome light problem is likely that the crappy switches that get pushed in when the door closes don't make contact when opened. You can find them at the lower right corner of the door sill. (Driver's side door. Same relative position on the other doors.) Take a phillips screwdriver and remove them, AFTER removing the correct fuse. Spray the inside of the switches with contact cleaner. Grab the black nub of the switch and twist it while holding the switch body still.

The trunk has a weird setup. the switch contact is where the trunk latch is. When the trunk is closed, the simple spring switch is held open so the light turns off. When trunk is open, the switch closes and the bulb lights. Hope this helps.

check your relay box definatly and how exactly did your friend remobe it? were there screws involved if so. your wiring got messed up and needs fixed. this will entail pulling out panels and running new wires. good luck!
