How to rebuild dana 60 front?

Fully rebuild, or partial rebuild? Pinion, ring, spider gears, pumpkin, bearings? Rebuilding it FULLY and PROPERLY is a big story, one too big to relate here, and it takes quite a lot of special tooling (differential spreader, dial indicators, etc). Please don't attempt this unless you have a well equipped shop.

If you just need to replace the spider gears, that's easy. Drain the oil, remove the cover, rotate the pumpkin until you can unbolt the crosspin. Push/pull the crosspin out, rotate the spider gears until they come out. Remove the side gears. Remove all four thrust washers.

Replace all four thrust washers, then the new side gears, then mesh the new spider gears with the side gears & rotate them into place. If the crosspin hole won't line up, rotate one axle shaft until it does. Install the new crosspin and bolt it in. Replace the cover gasket and cover, refill.

Going further requires a LOT more work, but you'll need to remove the spider & side gears first anyway. If you're replacing bearings or the pumpkin or the ring & pinion, you'll need a bunch of new shims to work with until you can get the ring-pinion clearance exactly right. You'll also need a differential spreader to get enough space to remove/install the pumpkin with its bearings in place. If you're replacing the pinion gear, you'll need to take some painfully exact measurements or you'll NEVER get the ring/pinion clearances correct.

Plenetry gear system is broken in rear axle whats Problem

Remove wheel, remove rear diff cover, remove small bolt that retains spider gear cross shaft in the carrier. Push axle in, remove "c" clip on end of axle and remove axle from housing. Reverse to replace. Only problem you may have is that sometimes small bolt is broken inside carrier. if broken you will need to drill a tiny hole into it and remove with tiny "easy out" or other similar device.
Do not turn carrier when shaft has been removed or spider gears will rotate and fall out!

Hi i was after the process for replaceing rear wheel bearings on a 1994 jeep cherokee thanks

You need to remove the tire and brake drum. After doing that, remove the cover from the differential and remove the roll pin or bolt that retains the cross shaft in the spider gears. slide the cross shaft out then push the axle in and remove the C retainer on the axle end. The axle can then be removed. Use a bearing puller to remove the bearing, then remove the seal. Reverse process to install.
Be careful if turning the gear set after the pin has been removed. If you turn it and don't pay attention, the spider gears can fall out.

How do you remover the rear axle on a 1993 chevy pickup?

On yours, you need to remove the diff cover, remove the small retainer bolt at the end of the spider gear cross shaft and remove the shaft. push the axle in and remove the "c" clip on the axle end. It can then be pulled out of the housing. Reverse to install. Don't turn the gears while toe cross shaft is out or the spider gears will exit to the floor. You can put your finger into one hole and gently turn it to avoid that, but don't jam your finger in there.

Spider gears shot

No you can replace the gears by removing the differential cover. Remove the gear pin and slightly pull the axles out of the gears. unbolt the drive shaft from the differential first you will then be able to move the gears so you can get at the pins.
