Question about 2001 Chevrolet Blazer

1 Answer

Bogging and no power!

My blazer does not exceed over 40 mph because there is no power, but there is power before it hits that speed. It starts to bog and backfire when it hits 40 mph. I've checked all the fluids and everything seems to be fine. Im not sure what I need to do.

Gas relay

The only things that hold you back are:

A totally clogged gas filter
A blocked exhaust converter
A slipping transmission

Rare to fall back to a slower speed

My truck stalls after five or six blocks. starts up but bogs down .

check the fuel system, it may need a fuel filter if all else is ok. sounds like its not getting enough fuel and it is bogging down.
