Engine timing or carb is out of adjustment. Also maybe worth changing spark plugs.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Will not have a thermastat make suv overheat its 2001 ford escape

No.
Leaving the thermostat out will not make the engine run hot.
Some possible causes are low coolant, faulty water pump, or leaking head gasket.

CV joint - wheel side needs to be replaced :) right wheel, a lot of people drive like that for a while before they fix it so don't worry, also it shouldn't be soooo expensive

Water is not flowing through system causing it to overheat. new thermostat, new water pump. What next.

It sounds as thought it could be a clogged radiator. Have it checked out by a radiator repair shop. It may be necessary to remove radiator from vehicle if unable to drive.

I have 1998 ford escort se, when i drive it for more then hour the service engine soon lights come on... I replaced the fuel filter. and it is back on again... HELP

Service engine light is for soooo many issues that your engine might find is wrong w/it... you should take it to an Electric mechanic so that he can check w/a computer whats EXACTLY wrong w/it... ask arround for an honest one too, that always helps =)

Emergency brake stuck on 96 land rover cant find cable underneath carriage, is there a secondary release.. this is soooo stupid.. I feel I've looked everywhere please hepl..

Probably the same set up as my 96 Discovery, Automatic transmission. The emergency brake is the drum (looks like a big metal flywheel, about 14 inches diameter) on the output of the center differential going to the drive shaft for the rear wheels. There is a short cable from there up to the driver's lever. By disconnecting the rear drive shaft, the e-brake drum can be removed. Its pretty heavy, so don't drop it on your knogan.
