Question about Cars & Trucks
How outside doorhandle on the passenger side is installed. Mainly i need to know how the rod connected to the handles bottom side is connected and if there is a plastic connector that is missing that holds the rod in place? The rod seems to be in the right place but just moves up and down without doing anything ontop of the lock there is a blue clip with a hole in it and the rod just slides up and down threw it. Is there suppose to be a connector that clips on the bottom like the top of the rod to the handle?
Difficult to put in words so my best advice is go to Nissan Parts dept and ask them to print you an exploded diagram of the internal door mech parts as you may need to order some clips etc... most parts guys will do this.
The diagram will make the job easy for you

I've replaced 3 of the 4 window regulators on my 2001 Lincoln LS. It's a better idea to replace the whole regulator assembly then to repair one that is worn out or broken. It saves a lot of time and money in the long run. Look on the big online auction for a replacement. Be sure to check the sellers feedback score, and the price of shipping. I've bought all 3 of mine that way and haven't had any problems. Good Luck!
